Activity Centre, with Restaurant & Bar
We have been teaching First aid for over 20 years. Through out these years we have been constantly improving our own first aid knowledge in a variety of locations and environments by working along side and training with Army Medics, TA hospitals, Office based first aid providers, St Johns event First aid teams, and various triathlon and marathon first aid support staff. On top of this, we are all practising outdoor pursuit instructors and expedition leaders, so we have experience of actually giving first aid in real life situations. This had given us a great depth and understanding of what is needed in first aid training.
As such we really believe in teaching knowledge in such a way that you understand and feel confident to do something in an emergency situation. not just try to remember "by rote" protocols. So to this end, our courses are full on practical as much as possible, using our coaching backgrounds to ensure you get the best knowledge and not just powerpoint indoctination. We will empower you to trust your first aid skills and be able to do something to help people.
Whatever your first aid requirements, give us a shout and we can help you, whether its training, due dilligence or First aid Risk assessing, we are here for you. And can train, advise and even supply your first aid kits.
The one stop first aid place.
Our first aid courses are mostly based out of our fantastic centre, here at Chirk. North Wales. We love running first aid courses from Chirk as the training room is fantastic, loads of free carparking, plus we have the restaurant on site that makes it so much more relaxing. Also, there is a lot to be said for taking time away from your business, less pressure on you during the course, so you can concentrate on the learning.
We also feel First Aid training should be available to all, so we offer free BHF Heartstart courses to any group that want basic life saving skills but dont need a fully certificated course, in fact in 2013-2015 we have put over 400 people through this free first aid course.
